Reading Blue Pills by Frederick Peeters

2 years ago, when i was in browsing through a cool comic store in Brussels, i found this book.

just by looking at the brush strokes, it gave me an itch to hold a brush immediately.

but too bad it was in french.
i couldn't buy it.

was tempted too, the drawings was
good enough for me to succumb to it.

but no, i just flipped through the pages and
hoping to have a photographic memory
of the strokes.
(i always do this when i was a kid in bookstores,
when i couldn't afford to buy anything)

the framing and panels affected my style
executed on I See So Many Butterflies.

a year later, i found this book in my local bookstore,
translated!

i bought it so fast from the bookstore,
as though i just stole it and ran.

of course, like all good stuff,
i like to anticipate and wait to read it.

now, finally. after 2 years, i'm gonna read it now.

why?

because i'm so scared to ink the first 2 pages that i just
finished penciling yesterday.

and i need that itch again.
