Day 27: Slow-Mo

My God.

Days are going so slow for the last few days.

I'm only managed to deliver thumbs today.

Usually for the last few days of 30dayartist,
time passes by really fast.

But not this time.

The struggle of balancing 2 jobs is like
having 48 hours in a day.

like i'm experiencing everything in double-speed.

slow-mo.

very painful.

i start the day on shoot.

a day of shooting might take up to 9 hours.

come back, shower, eat, nap, then draw.

i usually spend at least 6 hours on the
drawing table for this 30dayartist run,
but due to lack of time, i only spend
bout 3 hours top a day.

the 6 hours i spend on 30dayartist is
not merely on drawing.

most of the time is 'waiting'.

i can't draw directly.
even with thumbnails ready,
i need the time to wait for
myself to draw.

does it sound weird to you?

i dunno, for me drawing is not like
a job. is like an 'anticipation'.

i need the moment to feel right.

once the pencils are done,
i wait again for the inking 'moment'.

once inking is completed, there's
no waiting time for post, i jump
straight to the scanner and computer.

it feels like a very long process.

so, you see, it's not as simple as
just sit, draw, scan, publish.

now, 1 hour before call-time,
i'm gonna go 'wait' for the moment.
